Mr. Rottman joined Adelberg, Rudow as a member in 1991 with a concentration in the areas of real estate, business, estate planning and probate and chairs the firm's Real Estate Section.

Mr. Rottman represents developers and commercial clients in the purchase, sale, financing, development and utilization of residential, commercial and industrial real estate. He counsels in the drafting and negotiating of acquisition and sales agreements, condominium and homeowner association documents, forming partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies, and drafting and negotiating leases and construction contracts.

Mr. Rottman is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Section on Real Estate Practice and was the co-founder and first chairman of the Commercial Real Estate Attorneys' Discussion Group. He is admitted to practice before the U. S. Tax Court; U. S. District Court of Maryland, U. S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court.

He is the author of Maryland Condominium, Homeowner Association, Cooperative and Time-Sharing Forms and Practice, published by Aspen Publishers and Expandable and Phased Planned Unit Developments, part of the treatise Real Estate Transactions, published by Matthew Bender.

He served as an Assistant City Solicitor for Baltimore City (1961-1967) and an Assistant Attorney General of Maryland (1967-69).
