David Applefeld is a Member of Adelberg, Rudow. Mr. Applefeld's practice concentrates in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, construction law, insurance law, and products liability law. He lectures and has been published in these areas. Mr. Applefeld is an experienced trial lawyer who has litigated complex construction defect claims, insurance coverage claims, and architectural and engineering professional negligence claims in both state and federal courts, as well as before the American Arbitration Association. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, Colorado, The District of Columbia and before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Applefeld has served as the Maryland Liaison for the Product Liability Committee of Defense Research Institute and is a member of the American Bar Association's Forum on the Construction Industry, a member of the Home Builders Association of Maryland, and the American Subcontractors Association of Baltimore.

Mr. Applefeld is a contributing author to the Mid-Atlantic Builder and has published numerous articles on legal issues affecting the construction industry. Mr. Applefeld is an Affiliate Member of the American Institute of Architects, Baltimore Chapter. He has served on the Judicial Selection Committee of the Bar Association of Baltimore City.

Mr. Applefeld volunteers his time to a number of charitable organizations, including the Ed Block Courage Award Foundation, Inc., Friends School of Baltimore, and the Baltimore City Local Contractor Development Program.
