Hon. Paul A. Dorf
Member and Former Circuit Court Judge
Paul A. Dorf served as an Associate Judge of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City from 1968 until 1983. He also served as a Maryland State Senator from 1960 through 1968.
Since joining Adelberg, Rudow in 1983, Paul A. Dorf has devoted his practice to family law, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Mr. Dorf is an experienced arbitrator/mediator with legal and judicial experience and has been certified by the courts and alternative dispute resolution organizations in the field of alternative dispute resolution, and conducts private arbitrations/mediations in both civil and domestic disputes.
Additionally, Mr. Dorf served as a neutral for alternative dispute resolution organizations such as American Arbitration Association, National Arbitration Forum, Resolute and FINRA. In addition to these organizations, the Circuit Courts for Baltimore County and Baltimore City and the Orphans’ Court for Baltimore County and Baltimore City have appointed him as an official mediator.
Mr. Dorf has served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Baltimore Law School and University of Maryland University College, Paralegal Studies Department and Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers and served on the Governor's Commission on Alternate Dispute Resolution.
In his leisure, Mr. Dorf enjoys spending time with his wife, Helene, travelling, reading, and playing golf. He resides in Baltimore City, Maryland.
