About Us
Ms. Persson joined ARD&H in December 2010, bringing with her
legal and operational insight into international supply chain, customs, and
product safety matters. Prior to working
at ARD&H, Ms. Persson served as Deputy General Counsel of Fila U.S.A., Inc., a
licensee of the Fila® brand, for nearly 5 years. There, she also served as the company’s
Director of Inbound Logistics and Customs Compliance Department and counsel to
the company’s retail and ecommerce affiliates.
Ms. Persson frequently worked with the company’s overseas affiliates as
well, typically in matters involving mergers and acquisitions, financing,
licensing, and supply chain.
In
her capacity as outside counsel, Ms. Persson continues to represent companies
involved in international trade, while also representing clients of all sizes
and maturity in industries such as technology, construction, real estate,
retail, beauty, and healthcare. Much of
Ms. Persson’s practice focuses on contract negotiation and drafting, as well as
business planning, tax counseling, and compliance guidance in areas such as
import and export regulations and consumer product safety; consequently, she
frequently interfaces with government officials, C-level executives, and
operational personnel. She handles a full spectrum of
business issues including, but not limited to, choice of entity and formation,
shareholder agreements, business regulation, complex business
transactions, finance, intellectual property protection, licensing, ecommerce,
facilities, office and retail store leases, warehouse and transportation
matters, vendor and supplier relationships, 3PL arrangements, and
staffing. Ms. Persson’s legal experience
is complemented by 15 years of business management experience.
Before practicing law, Ms. Persson lived in Virginia and Florida
where she worked in the water treatment, copier, food services, and
telecommunications industries. Ms.
Persson has been a resident of the great State of Maryland since 1997, and can
be spotted refereeing youth soccer in South Baltimore in her spare time.
